The Cava Tzu is loyal, affectionate & has a gentle manner. This designer breed enjoys play time and does excellent with children. They love attention & are eager for their owner’s approval.
Health
The Cava Tzu is a relatively healthy cross. Some health concerns to watch for are:
- Hip Dysplasia
- Ear & Eye Infections
- Seizures
- Mitral Valve Disease (MVD)
All mixed breed dogs have a better chance of having less health concerns because of their genetic diversity.
Coat & Coat Care
The Cava Tzu coat is soft, wavy & stands away from their body.
The Cava Tzu is for the most part hypoallergenic. Grooming every 4 – 6 weeks will prevent any shedding. It will also help prevent any tangling or matting of their hair. Brushing daily will also help maintain a healthy coat.
